Fauna Police saves hundreds of birds and other fauna through bird helpline in Delhi and around. Nature of cases treated and nursed regularly at the Fauna Police include maanjha thread cuts, animal bite wounds, paralysis, avian pox, orphan new-borns etc.
Fauna Police is also working to eradicate illegal Indian wild bird/animal trade, save animals from natural and man-made emergencies, shut down puppy mills, stop animal fighting and other forms of animal cruelty and so much more.

Fauna Police is not into pet adoption and we are only helping individuals and organizations in adoption of pets, there have been complaints about rejection of interested parents, longer stay with foster parents, adoption charges, here we would like to clarify that Fauna Police is only helping animal people in their cause and do not interfere with their decision, we don't have a shelter for sick and abandoned dogs and our main concentration remains on Birds and other wildlife who are in our need the most, we do take care of cruelty cases and emergency situations,please do not depend only on us for such situations, we do whatever we can with our limited sources, we are doing so many thing at a time and many of them can not be discussed or displayed on social networking.
