This is Rider, an intelligent and beautiful Spitz who was found abandoned in South Delhi one afternoon. (Spitz are often mistaken for a Pomeranian in India) How could people be so heartless to let go of such a faithful and well behaved animal? Rider was hungry and depressed when he could not trace its way back home. Abhinav Srihan, spotted the dog and took him in his custody. Rider took rounds of Sarojini Nagar on Abhinav's bike and seemed to enjoy them. The friendly dog craved for more rides and never got off the bike. That's how he earned the name - Rider.
Rider was put for adoption and sent to a shelter. Earnest request to owners of dogs. Please do not abandon the poor creatures on roads. Would you have done that if that was your own kid? They are like helpless children who depend on you each moment. Have a heart and care for them if they fall sick or grow old.

Did Rider find a loving home? My pet have always been a rescued German/Indian Spitz.
